It can also run effectively on a Windows 11 desktop or laptop — often the choice for the Free Trial edition.
Server Security
It is just a user application:
- The limited relationships with the server are handled at installation time
- No user signed into EQQ can see or do anything with the server itself

Data Protection
Protecting your business data is critical. When installed, EQQ is configured to:
- Only generate SELECT queries
- Use IIS access control features to ensure only valid access is allowed
- Use HTTPS and TLS 1.2
EQQ's Own Database
EQQ has its own database to manage and hold the Views, Queries, and supporting SQL objects:
- The only data it contains are the users and their roles
- No business data whatsoever
