EQQ Query User Guide

As a Query User, your role is to run pre-built queries to get the data you need from your business database quickly, easily, and without any technical knowledge.

Logging In

Browse to your organization's EQQ web address. Enter your username and password, then click Sign In. If you have not yet received login credentials, contact your EQQ Administrator.

The Query Dashboard

After logging in, you will see a list of queries that your Query Creator has published for you. Each query has a name and description to help you choose the right one.

Running a Query

  1. Click on the query name to open it
  2. Set any available parameters (for example: date range, department, or region)
  3. Click Run Query
  4. Results appear in a grid on screen

Working with Results

Once a query has run, you can:

  • Sort by any column by clicking its header
  • Filter results further using the filter row
  • Export to Excel by clicking the Export button
  • Print a formatted copy of the results

Query Epilogue

Some queries include a Query Epilogue link on each result row. Clicking it takes you directly to the corresponding record in your source application, so you can view or update it without searching manually.

Saving Your Work

EQQ remembers your most recently used parameters for each query, so re-running a routine report is just a couple of clicks.
